PSO-Based Model Predictive Control for Load Frequency Regulation with Wind Turbines

چکیده
With the high penetration of wind turbines, many issues need to be addressed in relation load frequency control (LFC) ensure stable operation power grids. The particle swarm optimization-based model predictive (PSO-MPC) approach is presented address this issue context LFC with participation turbines. classical MPC was modified incorporate optimization algorithm for generation regulate system frequency. In addition addressing unpredictability turbine generation, PSO-MPC strategy not only addresses randomness but also reduces computation burden traditional MPC. simulation results validate effectiveness and feasibility as compared other state-of-the-art strategies.
